Kvint Aligote 2013

" Value, zesty, vibrant.

While Aligote is generally associated as Burgundy's other white grape, it is quite common in more easterly countries (Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Moldova) as well. It is a high acid variety, early ripening and suitable to cool climates. This Moldova version is true to style and offers good value. Restrained golden fruit, plenty of lemony notes, acacia and honey with a mineral core. The palate is tangy and fresh with good weight and racy acidity. The finish is equally juicy and zesty. Pair: seafood, fresh greens with citrus dressings, soft cheeses. "                  by Daenna Van Mulligen, WineDiva.ca  Dec.10, 2015

Harmonious bouquet with hints of wild flowers and nice elegant taste with light piquant bitterness.
